Discover the fundamentals of pottery in this fun and welcoming 5-week beginner wheel class! No prior experience is needed, this course is designed for students who are new to the pottery wheel and want to learn the basics in a supportive environment.
During the first four weeks, you'll build your skills step by step while creating a variety of functional pottery projects:
Week 1: Wheel throwing fundamentals
Week 2: Cylinders
Week 3: Bowls
Week 4: Small plates
Week 5: Glazing your finished pieces
What's Included:
All supplies (clay, glazes, and firings)
Hands-on instruction throughout the course
Students will create approximately 6–8 pieces over the duration of the class and may keep up to 2 finished pieces from each class, for a maximum of 8 finished pieces.
No prior experience is required.
All projects must be picked up within 30 days of the final class. Any unclaimed work after that time will be donated.
No refunds will be provided once registration has been completed.
Due to our limited class schedule, makeup classes are not available. Please review your schedule carefully before registering to ensure you can attend all sessions.
