Ready to level up your clay game? Our Summer Throw Down is designed for students who’ve completed a beginner wheel throwing class and are ready for the next challenge. Over 8 exciting weeks, you’ll dive deeper into wheel throwing techniques while building confidence, skill, and creativity in the studio.
For the first 5 weeks, we’ll focus on pushing your throwing skills further than ever before — tackling larger forms, more advanced shapes, and techniques that stretch your abilities and unlock your potential. Expect to refine your centering, improve consistency, and experiment with forms that challenge and inspire you.
Then we’ll wrap up the session with 3 weeks of hand-building, where students will create one ambitious, really cool project from start to finish using hand-building techniques that complement and expand your ceramic practice.
As part of this special summer experience, students will also receive a trial studio membership throughout the full 8 weeks, giving you extra studio access and more time to practice, experiment, and grow.
Included:
One 25lb bag of clay (additional clay available for purchase)
8 pieces bisque and glaze-fired (additional pieces may be fired for an extra fee per piece)

½ shelf storage space
